5 Star Garage Door Service offers scheduled maintenance for Addison, IL homeowners who'd rather prevent the 2am emergency call than pay for one.
We built our Garage Door Maintenance service around Addison, IL customers who need a specialist, not a generalist working outside their depth.
Every Addison, IL technician on this service line carries documentation you can ask to see, and we expect the question.
We check springs, cables, rollers, hinges, track alignment, and opener settings — the whole system.
Catching a worn roller during maintenance costs far less than the emergency call after failure.
{Door balance and auto-reverse function get tested on every visit, not just new installs.|An opener working against an unbalanced door burns out years faster.|Sensor function gets verified as standard practice, every Addison, IL call.}
We recommend an interval based on your door's actual usage, not a generic schedule.
Rollers, hinges, tracks, and springs get inspected and properly lubricated — lubrication schedules vary by Addison, IL climate, with humid conditions needing more frequent attention.
We test door balance with the opener disconnected — tension gets adjusted as part of routine maintenance rather than waiting for full failure.
We verify auto-reverse function and force settings meet safety standards — sensor alignment gets corrected if it's drifted, even slightly.
We check for track misalignment and roller wear before either causes an incident — roller bearing condition gets assessed since a seized bearing accelerates track wear.
Bottom seals and side weatherstripping get checked for cracking or gaps — that let in Addison, IL weather and pests.

{Work is completed and tested through a full cycle before we call the job finished.|We verify safety function and smooth operation before asking for your sign-off.|Workmanship is backed by our guarantee, not just a handshake.}

"""Signed up for annual maintenance after a bad spring emergency last year. No surprise breakdowns since."""
"""Tech caught a roller about to fail during a routine visit. Would have been an emergency call otherwise."""
"""Appreciated that they didn't try to sell me parts I didn't need yet."""
"""Thorough inspection, clear notes on what to watch for next year."""

Full hardware inspection, lubrication, spring tension check, opener testing, and track assessment.
